Dr Pannavat Veeraburinon (DR Palm)
Counselling Psychologist
I am an HCPC-registered Counselling Psychologist with extensive experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. My approach is integrative, combining Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). I believe therapy is most effective when it is tailored to the individual, respecting the unique history, needs, and goals of each client.
Over the course of my career, I have conducted more than 7,000 counselling sessions with clients from diverse backgrounds and professions. I have worked with individuals across the UK, Europe, the United States, Asia, and Africa, supporting them in addressing a wide range of concerns including anxiety, trauma, burnout, depression, perfectionism, identity challenges, and relationship difficulties.
My own multicultural background, Thai, Vietnamese, Laotian, and Chinese, enables me to bring cultural sensitivity and inclusivity into every session. Clients often describe my style as empathetic, collaborative, and gently challenging, helping them build resilience, gain clarity, and foster sustainable change.
In addition to my clinical work, I serve as a Global Inclusive Council Member for a leading mental health organisation, advising on culturally competent care across more than 200 countries. I have also presented to corporate audiences (TikTok, Microsoft, and Hitachi) and contributed to international media (CNBC) on psychological wellbeing.
Through My Therapist Online, my aim is to provide a safe, professional, and transformative space in which clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to move beyond survival and toward a more purposeful, fulfilling life.

Feedback about therapy with Pannavat
"I honestly loved how Dr Palm crafted his therapy method in with me. It was so smooth and I have not realised that it would actually be fruitful session. I thought that it would be just like any other therapist I had here that will get my informations on my first session and introduce me to a technique that wouldn't work right for me. I'm really happy how he has helped me unlock what I needed to do. I'm really grateful for him."
After 3 sessions of counselling on issues concerning bipolar disorder, perfectionism, depression, trauma & abuse, and self esteem
"Dr Palm has played a really important role in rebuilding my confidence. I was nervous about going to therapy, I’d had some counselling on the NHS about 5 years ago - I don’t think I was ready to do the work. But with him, I’ve made some real breakthroughs. Time flies with the sessions, I feel lighter after every session. Thank you Dr Palm!"
Long-term client on issues concerning ADHD, social anixety, panic attack, stress, intimacy-related issues, and self esteem
"Dr Palm is a warm-hearted person and has provided a safe non-judgemental space for me to express and explore sad feelings. He has helped me understand what beliefs were underlying my negative thoughts and has guided me to find what I need to do to replace these beliefs. This has been incredibly helpful. He has also introduced me to mindfulness, which I have personally found to be a great way to check in with myself." After 11 sessions of counselling issues concerning work-life balance, generalized anxiety disorder, relationship issues, and ADHD
What is Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy?
EMDR is a psychological therapy for the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). It is designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories. EMDR facilitates the accessing and processing of traumatic memories to bring these to an adaptive resolution. After successful treatment with EMDR, emotional distress is relieved, negative beliefs are reformulated, and anxiety is reduced.
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing integrates elements of many effective psychotherapies in structured protocols that are designed to maximise treatment effects. The effectiveness of EMDR for PTSD has been demonstrated by research, and EMDR is recommended as an evidence-based procedure by the British Department of Health, among other professional bodies.
