Pronouns: She/Her
I’m Wendy, an HCPC-registered psychologist offering one-to-one sessions. I have 20 years of experience working with adults of all ages and backgrounds. I believe that we all have the capacity to make changes in the direction we desire with the right support, even when it can feel overwhelmingly difficult.
I work with people experiencing many different types of issues related to life experiences, which may be causing them anxiety and low mood. As an integrative practitioner, I use a range of approaches to provide therapy responsive to the individual, tailored to their specific needs. A person-centred philosophy is at the heart of my work and I always aim to provide a warm, empathic and effective therapeutic space.
Typically, the first one or two sessions will help us create a shared understanding of the issues and develop a plan to address these. Some clients prefer their therapy to be open ended, while others favour a fixed number of sessions.
If you'd like to discuss what 's going on for you and how working together might help in moving forwards, please get in touch for a free introductory chat. I look forward to hearing from you.
