Ella is a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and EMDR practitioner, based in the UK with over 8 years experience of working therapeutically to help clients to improve their psychological well-being. In addition. she is also a trainee psychosexual therapist. Ella believes in using evidence-based theory and practice to overcome psychological distress and invites you to become curious about yourself.
Using approaches which help you to make sense of unhelpful ways of interpreting and responding to day-to-day experience and working towards meaningful change, Ella will help you to increase your awareness of your values, beliefs and goals and support you to improve your relationship with yourself and others.
With a realistic understanding of modern-life and the pressures that it can bring, Ella offers a creative, compassionate and pro-active approach to therapy which values openness, self-reflection and the desire to change.

Ella has undergone specialist trauma training and is high skilled at working with people who have experienced traumatic events (e.g. road traffic accidents, assault, domestic violence, natural disasters, health scares and traumatic bereavement) and has extensive experience of this including in her work as an EMDR Practitioner. Ella is training in Psychosexual and relationship therapy.
Ella has also worked with a substantial caseload of people who are feeling stuck in their lives, be it through work, a relationship or just a sense of dissatisfaction with how things have turned out for them. She uses values-based work to help individuals to better understand how to make the changes they need to move towards increased levels of enjoyment and meaning in day-to-day life.
